Current vacancies:

We have two small, fixed-term Teacher's aide roles available at school. The board has committed to supporting rooms 1, 7, and 8 by having two adults in each space to keep the child-to-adult ratio as low as possible as our school continues to grow. As you are already aware, room 2 starts up in term 3 with Madeleine Schoultz, and the numbers in that class will be very low.

Role a)3.5 hours every morning from 9:00-12:30, room 8, Monday- Friday

Role b) 1.5 hours every morning from 11:30 to 1:00, room 3, Monday through Friday. (One of our present TAs is changing their duties so they can work in room 1, leaving a gap in room 3).

Both roles finish at the end of this year.

Both roles are paid according to the Support Staff in Schools Collective agreement at Grade A, $25.18 an hour, + holiday pay.

A prerequisite to applying is completing a police vetting form (two forms of ID are required)—this is to meet the expectations of the Vulnerable Children's Act 2014.
