Haumoana School

ENROLMENT

Haumoana school is one of a minority of schools in the Hastings/Napier area without an enrolment zone- so there is no waiting list for ballots!

We are within easy drive distance of both cities and 5 minutes from Clive, less than 10 minutes from Havelock North.

We welcome new enrolments and we invite parents to make an appointment to view our school in action and to discuss how we can best support their child’s learning.

Our transition to school support allows children to meet their future classmates, introduces parents and teachers and gives your child a chance to get a feel for school days. We ask that an adult accompanies each child to the sessions to support them.

Children may attend school from the age of 5 years and parents will need to complete an enrolment form (we suggest you complete the forms prior to your child’s start date) and show a Birth Certificate as verification of date of birth for the ENROL Ministry database and as a back-up system for the Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages. We also need to sight all or any vaccination certificates. Please note: Children are not legally able to start school before their fifth birthday.
